Deodorants, Stinky Armpits and how to DETOX them.
Natural Deodorants VS Commercial Deodorants?
Lets Talk about Stinky Armpits
It may sound hilarious or sometimes embarrassing when we
talk about stinky armpits. Before you come to conclusions and think this may
not apply to you ,heard me out there’s some interesting information here that we
can all use.
I often get ask how do my Natural deodorants work? Am I going
to smell bad after a while? Am I going to sweat more than the usual? Do this
thing actually works? Well I will answer all those questions today's blog.
What are the ingredients in Commercial Deodorants?
As some of you may know a vast majority of commercial
deodorants contain antiperspirant.
- What is an antiperspirant? Antiperspirant is a mixture of aluminum salts that prevent sweat and smell.
- How does Antiperspirant work? When an antiperspirant is applied to the skin it dissolves creating a barrier that blocks your sweat glands reducing the amount of sweat that reaches the skins surface.
- What ingredients can be found in a commercial deodorant and antiperspirant? Aluminum salts, Antimicrobial, Fragrances, Parabens, Propellants, alcohol.
Some of these ingredients can cause skin irritation, several scientists have suggested a possible connection between breast cancer and antiperspirant. I think I would avoid these ingredients until further researches have been done.
A more natural way to get rid of stinky armpits
If you are trying to go more natural there is a variety of alternatives
that will get the job done without worrying about harsh chemicals or aluminum
as part of the ingredients. One of those are the Natural deodorants sticks or cream.
- What are they made of?
- Natural Deodorants are made using a variety of butters and carrier oils that will leave your skin soft and moisturized.
- Arrow root powder that will absorb moisture; Baking soda (sometimes) that will prevent odor.
- Essential oils that will make your armpits smell divine while masking any odors.
- No Harsh synthetic chemicals nor aluminum therefore you will still sweat some, but you will not smell. After all sweating is a natural important health role.
Transition Process
Switching to a Natural deodorant is a process for some of
us. Remember your body is used to commercial deodorants and antiperspirant and
it will need to adjust in order for your Natural deodorant to work.
- How do we speed up the adjustment process? By detoxing your armpits! Yes... This is an amazing way to get your armpits ready for a new journey of using all-natural deodorants.
- Detox Process: There are several ingredients and ways to detox your armpits and help you being successful using Natural deodorants, I have done it and it works amazing!
